Praying for Your Camper's Time at Camp
Kids at camp can go through a wide range of emotions and experiences. There will be moments of joy and perhaps some moments of sorrow. We send our kids to camp because we believe that God is at work through the Holy Spirit to bring about transformation. Your child will be coming home as a different person - this is a good thing!! Take some time throughout the week to pray for your child's experience, and that they learning about and experiencing who God is in their lives. Here are specific things to be praying for:
- That they are making new friends
- That they are bonding with their staff member
- That God is speaking to them through Bible studies and worships
- That they are growing in their appreciation for all of God's Creation
- That the games and activities at camp are helping them to be comfortable and have fun in the camp setting
- That they can see the Holy Spirit at work in their lives, both at camp and at home!
